To ascend to the top echelon of programmers, you must break free from the conventional path followed by the majority. In an age dominated by YouTube tutorials, programming novices often find themselves inundated with a plethora of content, each vying for attention. However, succumbing to the most-viewed or subscribed channels can lead to a mundane journey, blending into the 99% of programmers with indistinguishable skill sets and experiences.
A common trope advises aspiring programmers to consume video tutorials, enroll in online courses, and engage in coding challenges like LeetCode. While these activities undoubtedly contribute to skill development, they also perpetuate the homogenization of programming talent. The abundance of shared knowledge and identical skill sets diminishes the value of individual expertise, resulting in a sea of average programmers with similar resumes.
