I. Statistical Significance:

1. Definition:

  • Statistical significance assesses whether the observed differences between the control group (A) and the treatment group (B) are likely due to a real effect or if they could have occurred by random chance.
  • Importance: It helps you determine if the results are reliable and not just due to random variation. This is often expressed as a p-value, where a lower p-value indicates a higher level of statistical significance.
  • Limitation: Achieving statistical significance does not necessarily mean the effect is practically significant or meaningful in the real world.
